Eligibility: The POWERADE® Power Your Team Contest For Canada (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of Canada (“Eligibility Area”), who are 13 years of age or older as of date of entry (“Entrant”). If Entrant is a minor, they should consult with their parent or legal guardian for any additional restrictions required for usage and must have parental permission to enter. Nominators may only nominate a Grade 7 through Grade 12 team that is 13 years or older and is based in Canada. Void outside the Eligibility Area and where prohibited by law. Employees of Coca-Cola Ltd. (the “Sponsor”), Coca‑Cola Canada Bottling Limited, Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (“Administrator”), Major League Soccer, L.L.C., Soccer United Marketing, LLC, Pro Soccer Development, LP, Player Development, LLC, MLS Canada ULC (collectively "SUM Entities") and each of their respective subsidiaries, parents, divisions, franchisees, promotional partners, agencies, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “Released Contest Parties”) as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible to participate. This Contest is subject to all applicable provincial and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes Entrant’s (and their parent/legal guardian’s if a minor) full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules.
Contest Period: The Contest begins at 10:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on July 31, 2026 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on November 15, 2026 (“Contest Period”). The Contest will also have a judging period which begins at 10:00 am ET on November 16, 2026 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on December 7, 2026 (“Judging Period”).
How to Enter: If you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian must consent to you entering this Contest prior to Entry. There is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to participate. During the Contest Period, find the Quick Response Code (“QR Code”) on specially-marked marketing material in digital media or select retailers and scan the QR code to visit promotion.coke.ca/poweryourteam (the “Website”) or visit the Website directly. Next, follow the instructions to complete your registration information by including your name, email address, ZIP code, date of birth, nominated sport, nominated league, and name of nominated team (“Team”). Then, in three hundred (300) words or less per question, in English, please answer the following:

The Entry must not contain content that is known by you to be false, inaccurate or misleading.
Any Entry deemed inappropriate or unsuitable, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be disqualified. Entry must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent (including but not limited to nudity, or pornography), profane, obscene, hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous or libelous (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group).
Entry must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
The Entry must not contain criminal or tortuous activity, including but not limited to child pornography, fraud, trafficking of obscene material, drug dealing, drug use, or gambling. Entry must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to all applicable local, provincial, federal, or international laws and regulations.
Any Entry or portion thereof that is, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory, contains any third-party materials, other than Coca-Cola Ltd. related materials, or otherwise violates or infringes (or may infringe) any copyright or trademark that identifies a brand or other proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity or make reference to any commercial/corporate advertising (including but not limited to brand names, slogans, political, or religious statements), or is otherwise objectionable, will not be considered and will disqualify the Entrant.
Entry must not include any representation of celebrities, athletes, musicians, or any other public or private figure, include any anti-social, political or religious groups, any commercial solicitation or promotional materials or name, address, phone number, or URL address.
Entry must not contain advertisements, personal solicitations or commercial solicitations.
Entrants and all submitted Entries must be in keeping with Sponsor's image/Coca-Cola Ltd. or brand image as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, or Entry will be disqualified from the Contest. The Entry must not disparage persons or organizations associated with Sponsor.
Entrants and all submitted Entries may not negatively reference any of Coca-Cola Ltd.’s competitors, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different Accounts, email addresses, identities, registrations or logins, or any other methods will void that Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Contest. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register for the Account will be deemed to be the Entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holders.
All Entries submitted become the property of Sponsor upon submission and will not be returned. Each Entrant (and the parent or legal guardian of any minor Entrant) by entering, grants to Sponsor a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to copy, distribute, and display each submitted Entry in any media, and with right to use, copy, modify, edit, and create derivative works there from. Any Entry deemed inappropriate or unsuitable, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be disqualified. By entering, you (or your parent or legal guardian if you are a minor) understand that your Entry (or portion thereof) may be posted online, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to be viewed by members of the general public. Entrants may not copy or otherwise plagiarize any portion of the Entry from any source, or use artificial intelligence (“AI”) to create their Entry. No information regarding Entries or judging, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules or on the Website, will be disclosed. All eligible Entries must be received during the Contest Period and will be verified prior to Entry tabulation. NOTE: Entrants are prohibited from obtaining or soliciting Entries by offering prizes, payments, or inducements for Entries, or engaging in other conduct that is not considered fair play, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion and Sponsor may void all Entries associated with such conduct.
Judging Period: If there are more than one thousand (1,000) eligible Entries, a random drawing will take place on or about November 2, 2026 to select one thousand (1,000) Entries to be judged. During the Judging Period, all Entries will be judged by a panel of qualified judges determined by Sponsor and Administrator (“Judges”) and the Judges will score the Entries (“Judges Score”) based on the following criteria:
Impact of the Sponsorship (30%)
How clearly and compellingly the entrant explains how the $2,000 sponsorship would benefit the nominated team, including specific uses and the anticipated impact on the team’s season.
Team Uniqueness & Character (30%)
How effectively the entrant describes what makes the team unique, including its identity, values, and distinguishing qualities.
Teamwork & Resilience (20%)
How well the entrant demonstrates the ways in which the team supports one another and overcomes challenges, including examples of collaboration, perseverance, or adversity.
“More to the Game” Contribution (20%)
How clearly the entrant illustrates how the team goes above and beyond, either on or off the field (e.g., community involvement, leadership, sportsmanship, or positive influence).
The twelve (12) Entries with the highest Judges Scores will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winners. In the event of any ties, the Entries with the highest score in Impact of the Sponsorship will prevail. In the event there are still any ties, the Entries will be rescored and the Entries with the highest overall Judges Score will prevail.
Prizes/Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):
Grand Prizes (12): Each winning Team will receive a CAD$2,000 sponsorship, awarded in the form of a prepaid card, CAD$250 awarded as a prepaid card that can be used towards POWERADE products, twenty-five (25) POWERADE Squeeze Bottles, and twenty (25) POWERADE branded towels. ARV: CAD$2,500. Prepaid card terms and conditions apply.
Grand Prizes will be collectively referred to as a “Prize” or “Prizes”. If a Prize (or portion of a Prize) becomes unavailable, Sponsor will substitute a Prize or portion of Prize of equal or greater retail value. No transfer, cash or other substitution of a Prize is permitted except Sponsor may substitute Prize in whole or in part for one of comparable or greater retail value for any reason. Resale of Prizes is prohibited. Limit of one (1) Prize per Team. Prizes will only be awarded to Teams, not nominators.
Winner Notification: The nominators of the potential winning Teams will be contacted via email and will be required to sign (or, if a nominator is a minor, their parent will be required to sign) and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability Release and except where prohibited, publicity release (“Declaration”) within forty-eight (48) hours of notification in order for the Team to be confirmed as the Prize winner. If a nominator of a potential winning team fails to return the completed Declaration within forty-eight (48) hours, Declaration is returned as undeliverable, Entrant shall be deemed to be ineligible, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winning Team will be determined for the applicable Prize. Upon Prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Prizes will then be fulfilled to the winning Team to the mailing addresses provided within 6-8 weeks after verification. Return of any Prize or notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and Prize will be forfeited and an alternate will be determined. If an Entrant is disqualified for one of the reasons mentioned above and an alternate is determined, the alternate (or their parent or legal guardian if alternate is a minor) must complete and return the required documents in the timeframe specified. Up to three (3) alternates may be determined per Prize. The Team or the Team’s affiliated school/organization (if applicable) is solely responsible for all taxes in connection with the prize (if applicable), including without limitation provincial, municipal and local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof. Any winners who have inquiries regarding their Prize fulfillment must contact customer support within six (6) months after the Contest has ended (and any outstanding Prizes will be forfeited after that time).
Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes winners’/Teams’/nominators’ (or parent/legal guardian’s for any minor) consent to Sponsor, its agents’, and the SUM Entities use of winner’s/Team’s/nominator’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and province for promotion, advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further notice, payment or consideration.
General Rules: By participating in the Contest, Entrant (or if a minor, parent/legal guardian) fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Any normal Internet/phone access and data/usage charges imposed by Entrants’ online/cellular service will apply and are Entrants’ sole responsibility. Sponsor is not responsible for any compatibility issues with Entrant's device/browser used for Entry. Entries become the property of Sponsor upon receipt and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address may be disqualified. No information regarding Entries, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules, will be disclosed. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connection; miscommunications; failed phone or computer or telephone transmissions; technical failure; jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions; late, lost, incomplete, delayed, or misdirected Entries; or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, or electronic. In the event the Contest is compromised or impaired in any way for any reason, including but not limited to, fraud, virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, outbreak of widespread illness, pandemic, or other similar occurrence, civil unrest or any other problem or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the Contest and select the Prize winners from among all eligible Entries received and randomly selected (if applicable) prior to cancellation. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, or incomplete Entries. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt by Sponsor. By participation in the Contest, Entrants, Prize winners, nominator (or their parent/legal guardian if the Entrant/Prize winner is a minor) release and hold harmless the Released Contest Parties from and against any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with submitting an Entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Contest, the receipt, ownership or use of any Prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in any Prize-related activity or any typographical or other errors in these Official Rules or the announcement or offering of any Prize.
Fraudulent/Disruptive Activities: Any attempt to tamper with, interfere with, or manipulate the Entry process, the operation of the Contest or Website or the Prize determination, including, but not limited to, the use of AI, bots, automated systems, or fraudulent identities, is strictly prohibited. Entries generated by AI, script, macro, or other automated means, or by any means that subvert the entry process, will be disqualified and may result in the Entrant being disqualified and banned from future promotions conducted by Sponsor and its affiliates. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual suspected of engaging in this prohibited conduct, including but not limited to, creating multiple Accounts, submitting false information, or engaging in any activity that violates these Official Rules. Any such actions may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to not only disqualify such individual but seek damages from such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law. Furthermore, any Entrant that acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person will be disqualified. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision.
Disputes: Entrant (or their parent/legal guardian if the Entrant is a minor) agrees that to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) they release and will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and all of the other Released Contest Parties from any and all claims; (b) claims arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and solely and exclusively in a federal or provincial court located in Toronto, Ontario in Canada; (c) Entrant submits to sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction to said courts in Toronto, Ontario in Canada for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (d) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual damages of no more than CAD$100, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (e) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrants or the Released Contest Parties in connection with this Contest shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Toronto, Ontario in Canada, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules of provisions (whether of the Province of Toronto, Ontario in Canada, Canada, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Province of Toronto, Ontario in Canada.
Privacy Notice: Information collected by Sponsor in connection with this Contest may be used by Sponsor and shared with third parties involved in administration of the Contest in accordance with the Sponsor’s online Privacy Notice posted at https://datatrust.coca-cola.com/ca/en#privacy-notices. The Entrant (or their parent/legal guardian if the Entrant is a minor) agrees to the collection, processing and storage of their personal data by Sponsor for the purposes of the Contest. By providing us with your information, you (or your parent/legal guardian if a minor) consent to the transfer of your data to jurisdictions outside your province and/or country of residence, which may have different data protection rules governing personal information.
